Membership in MI-MORT is limited to qualified individuals in the disaster mortuary community or others with specialized skills who have a desire to serve their community in the time of need.

Activation is generally limited to rotating two-week periods of work until the incident is completed – two weeks of work followed by two weeks back at normal occupation.
